Combining sailing skills with culinary expertise, the annual San Pellegrino Cooking Cup is one of the tastiest regattas in the world.
Around 60 crews, equipped with celebrity chefs, compete during the ten-mile race, seeking a double victory - the saling competition as well as the cooking challenge, the latter entailing the preparation of a complete three-course meal.
The jury is made up of internationally renowned gourmets, yachtsmen, wine experts and chefs. An evening prizewinners' party is held in Piazza San Marco.
