Scuola di Lingua e Cultura Italiana Laboratorio Linguistico

Laboratorio Linguistico - School of Italian set up in 1994 and recognised by the Italian Ministry of Education - is characterised by both a professional and friendly atmosphere, where learning Italian is enjoyable and fun. The subdivision of courses corresponds to the criteria of the Common European Framework for Languages. We work in collaboration with the University for foreigners of Siena and we are a centre for the DITALS exams and also hold training courses to teach Italian as a second language. The intensive courses are recognised in Germany as "Bildungsurlaub".

The school is situated in the old town of Milazzo which, on the north coast of Sicily is one of the oldest cities, a neolithic settlement dating back to 4000 b.c. with hellenic, roman, arab and norman influences and honoured by stays from Frederick II of Swabia. All of this remains in the architecture and the way of life of a city both historic and modern. Milazzo offers an authentic Italian environment far from mass tourism.

Courses are available all year in Milazzo, and at certain times of the year it is possible to attend courses in a sailboat around the Aeolian islands, in Lipari, Salina or in an agritourism near Cefalù. Excursions including Messina, Cefalù, Taormina, Palermo and Siracusa are organised.
